iakopo（本名“Jacob”はポリネシア語で“iakopo”の由来）はカリフォルニアに生まれ、愛する家族と共に幼少期を過ごしました。しかし、12歳になったある日、家族の手によって、たった一人でサモアに送られ、水も電気もない見知らなぬ地での生活を余儀なくされました。夜は月の明かり下でギターを弾いたり、サモアの村民と唄を歌ったりする中で、Island Reggaeに出会いました。2010年にソロのアーティストとしてのキャリアを開始し、自然をこよなく愛する大人気レゲエミュージシャンとして、世界中で活躍しています
iakopo (real name “Jacob” is the Polynesian name for “iakopo”) was born in California and spent his childhood with the beloved family. However, one day when he was 12, he was sent alone to Samoa by his family and forced to live in a strange land without water and electricity. At night, he met Island Reggae while playing guitar in the moonlight and singing with Samoa villagers. He started his career as a solo artist in 2010 and has been active around the world as a very popular reggae musician who loves nature.
